weddings
It’s time to gather some inspiration. Have a scroll through my portfolio – some of my recent and most favourite weddings and events can be found here. Once you’re feeling fired up and ready to dream up your own epic wedding flowers, get in touch, and let’s have a chat.
Let’s make some magic
I understand that planning a wedding can be stressful and at times overwhelming. There are dozens of choices to make and spreadsheets to complete, and it can all sometimes feel …well… like a bit of a chore. The good news is that designing your colourful and free-spirited floral displays with me is one of the most fun bits – I guarantee it.
We’ll work together on ideas (nothing is too outlandish – I’m allergic to the word ‘impossible’), and during our initial consultation I really encourage you to get playful and have fun with your thoughts on how we could transform your venue with flowers. No matter whether you’re planning a boho luxe extravaganza in a yurt or tipi, an intimate celebration of gorgeousness in your back garden packed with the thoughtful touches of home, or an all-out epic of a modern fairy tale in a country manor, your flowers can adda hit of personality, style, colour and fragrance that creates real atmosphere for you and your guests.
Let’s break down how the process works, so you can get more of an idea of how your unique floral designs will come together.
how it all works

Once you’ve had a look at my Gallery and decided that my style is right for your incredible wedding, fill in my enquiry form and tell me all about the celebration you’re planning. I love hearing about weddings, so feel free to go into as much detail as you like – it’ll get me all the more excited and inspired!

Wherever possible, I like to meet my couples face to face, so we can get to know each other and bounce ideas around. Consultations take place with plentiful tea and biscuits at my colourful garden studio in Leeds (or we can chat on Skype if that’s too far afield for you to travel). During the consultation, we’ll let our imaginations run wild, thinking about colours, structures and shapes that could work for the style of your wedding. We’ll start a joint Pinterest board of inspirational pieces from within the floral world and outside it, too (inspiration can come from anywhere and everywhere, and I’m frequently fired up by my couples passions for travel, fashion, food, interiors, or music in my designs). You’ll also probably find me breaking out my sketchpad during our chat – I always think better visually, and love to be able to show you the initial shapes of my ideas for you on paper.
-
After your consultation, I’ll get busy polishing up the ideas we discussed and turning them into a proposal for you. You’ll see colour palettes, proposed flower types and how I plan to weave them into your spectacular finished installations, bouquets, centrepieces and other designs. This in-depth proposal document will also break down the pricing for you into a detailed quote so you know exactly how much to budget for your flowers, and at what point payments will become due. Don’t worry, the proposal isn’t set in stone, and if we need to adjust for budgetary or other reasons we can tweak the designs until they’re working for you creatively and financially.

As we get close to the big day, I’ll set about sourcing and conditioning every last one of your chosen blooms. I work with British-grown flowers, and predominantly those grown locally in Yorkshire. Not only do I truly believe that we have some of the world’s best flowers right here in the UK, but by choosing to go British grown, you’re keeping the cost to the planet to a minimum, too. There are two flower farms in Leeds and Harrogate that I particularly love, run by formidable women with a real passion for and deep knowledge of flowers. These lovely ladies will be up in the early hours of the morning selecting and picking the flowers I’ll use for your wedding. They’re always fresh and gorgeously high quality, and they always smell totally amazing!

You don’t need to worry about a thing on your wedding day. Relax, lean into the excitement and the anticipation of the last few months, and get ready for the party of your life! I’ll install and arrange every last piece of your floral creations, making sure that your venue is transformed into a colourful, beautiful wonderland of your design. I also make sure that I hand deliver the bouquets and boutonnieres to you in person, to join you in your excitement, and give you both a massive hug!
Happy clients
"With the instructions 'colourful and wild' and her total understanding of the vibe of our wedding Daisy created the most beautiful bouquet, posies, corsages, buttonholes, table decorations and cake flowers. They honestly blew me away and we had so many comments on how wonderful they were. Thanks a million Daisy, you're a very talented lady!"

If you’ve got questions, I’m all ears, and I’m here to help. To get you started, here’s a list of the most common questions I get asked, that might give you the info you’re looking for.
How far in advance should we book you?
I do tend to get booked up quite far in advance, and I absolutely hate having to say no to people because of timing! I always recommend that as soon as you have your date set and your venue booked, you send that initial enquiry to get the ball rolling.
We've got our hearts set on a certain flower, can you get it for us?
I will certainly do my best. It’s always worth being aware of seasonality though, and the fact that sourcing flowers from international wholesalers is likely to make things pricier (as well as less sustainable.) My local growers are utterly fabulous, and between us we will do our utmost to hunt down the specific varieties you’re after. We can discuss all of the colour, scent and flower options in your initial consultation.
Do you do more than one wedding a day?
No. Your wedding will be my sole focus, and I only take on a limited number of weddings each year to make sure I give each one my full creativity and attention.
We're not sure how to think about budgeting for our flowers, but we know wewant a wow... do you have any tips?
I totally understand that pricing your flowers feels like a bit of a minefield when you’ve never had to do it before (and bouquets bought from the supermarket just can’t be used as a comparison here I’m afraid). Every quote I send out is totally bespoke, depending on the scope, size and intricacy of your designs, the stem count and varieties of flowers you choose, and a host of other factors besides. My minimum spend for weddings is £2,500, which means that couples who book me want more than just bridal party flowers. I provide table styling and installations as well as all the beautiful bouquets!
We've seen something we love on Pinterest, can you recreate it?
What did we do in the world before Pinterest, eh? It’s an absolutely marvellous tool to gather inspiration and get ideas, but I’m afraid I draw the line at directly recreating anything you’ve found on there. You deserve wedding flowers that are unique, and it’s my job to take your ideas and the things you love, and turn them into something totally new that’s never been seen before. Your wedding isn’t going to be an imitation of anything else, so why should your flowers be?
Are vases, urns, and vessels included in the price?
Yes, the quote you receive will include everything, including all structural and display items, all flowers, delivery, installation and take down. I try and make everything as simple as possible so there are no hidden nasties or unexpected extras.
Do you take the flowers down after our wedding? What happens to them?
Yes, don’t worry, you won’t be left with needing to leap about up ladders at midnight on your wedding night! Take down is included in your quote, and usually this happens the day after the wedding (in agreement with your venue). We can discuss options for what happens to the flowers – if you would like to take them home, they’re yours. Or I can arrange for them to be donated to charities, local hospices or old people’s homes to give others a splash of lovely colour. The choice is totally up to you.
